Today had a meet-up with Wan. We had a very late lunch since i finished off at 2 and off we went to New Upper Changi Road to have Yong Tau Foo. The stall was a little quaint shop and very limited seating which i assumes that if you come on weekend you'll probably have to wait quite a while to get a seating. The stall itself was 3/4 filled when we reached. And yes the place only sells yong tau foo and this fried noodles which i'm so gonna try the next time we go there again. We both had laksa yong tau foo and he ordered the normal squid char kueh i think and we had barley too. Too bad it wasn't sweet enough but the lunch we had was fulfilling and satisfying.
After that we headed to Bugis to have a soyabean curd which was delish. The softest ever soyabean curd ever and it was affordable too since it was a just $1 and the drink $0.70. After we're done off we took a stroll and reached Lasalle. So being us wanting to feel how it feels like to be a student there, we feeling2 lah walked into the courtyard. It actually serves as a purpose of a shortcut to get to the other side. And so we were feeling so arty-arty for the next 2 mins of our lives. hahaha... Then we were back at Arab Street to get the bike and off to home since it was already starting to drizzle at Bugis.
Well that was our mini excursion trip. so next time we'll have another round of excursion eh?
p/s: next time kita feeling2 budak lasalle lagi k Wan?

Sometimes i just want to be free from all the trouble here.
Work has been fine lately, am now in the merchandising department now or merch for short. It's all good 'cause i'm learning new things every day and being in this department means i'll get more working hours which is good news to me since the higher ups are cutting down the part-timers hours very badly. not to mention hari raya is coming and it'll be good if i just have that extra cash flowing around.
But today i decided to take mc just so i could rest; been working non-stop taking shifts from people who can't make it to work. so skipped work to let my body have a rest before it'll break down not to mention fasting month is here. which means i must learn to be patient with every single difficult customer.
Anyhow i can't wait for next week, there's a possibilty of the gathering of my ex-sec sch mates but there's a little bit of squabbling on where we should have our breaking fast. it's hard as eveyone has their own choice of place. however i don't think Arab St would be too much a trouble for almost all of us since we're living in the east. well whatever they come to decide to; i hoped it'll be all fair and square.
And then came Sat 12th Sept i'll be watching movie under the stars with girlfriends and of course Wan. also at the same time have our so called buka picnic. let's hope it shall not rain on our parade. Terribly can't wait to meet them although i think we just met like a week ago. it's been too long.
For now i'll just try to put on my best behaviour forward.
Service with a smile anyone? Had my braces tighten again yesterday afternoon and it still hurts like hell!

Had a meet-up with the newly-weds after their 2 weeks of being husband and wife. I arrived so late in meeting them. hee..my apologies ye? then we proceed to have our super late dinner at Seoul Garden. it was ladies night 50% + 10% on top of that we got free complimentary drinks. it was thanks to our ex-manager in Taka whom i think got transferred to Tamp and Wan recognized him but too bad he couldn't remember any of us.
Well as usual, we had to take photos while eating and while we ate, talked and snapped photos we realised that we couldn't really finishes all the food on the plates and yes some of it has to go to waste. tu lah tamak lagi! i didn't eat much was a bit too full from the TCC i had with Siti earlier on before meeting them, but i did have my raspberry ripple ice-cream which i won't say no to. after all that eating and talking, we found ourselves to be the last customer of the day for Seoul Garden and with full bloated stomachs we made our way home. slept like a baby and i was still full till the next day.
You ladies make my day!
next up meeting session bila eh? and i'm so excited in meeting my ex-sec sch mates for Iftar later next week.

Aida and Wan finally got married on 8th of August 2009 after 2 years of engagement and 9 years of courtship. Glad to be a part of their wedding and witnessing it with my own eyes; i'm sure Jijah felt the same way too. Everything was smooth sailing even though there was a few mishaps here and there before the nikah was about to proceed. But despite all that the wedding still pulls through and it was a success.
It was a memorable 2 daes for Aida n Wan and yes obviously me and Jijah. They've been talking about marriage since forever and now they're finally 1. I've known these 3 special people in my life since ITE daes in the 2nd year. What i can say is our friendship was never easy full of trial and tribulations along the way. But we managed to put aside our differences and yes our friendship still stands strong till todae.
We may not see each other as often as we like.but we do know that we can count on each other when in need.
we may not understand why or how we did the things we did but we'll need no explanations 'cause we're friends.
We may experience heartaches, cries and loneliness but we know who to run to when trouble looms upon us.
We may not be the perfect person we want to be. we may broke promises we made (esp:me) but despite all that we forgave each other and made another meet-up session soon.
We may not experience or feel what each other is feeling but we do share the pain that each of us went through.
We may not be as close as our siblings and family but i do feel that we share a special bond more than anything else.
We may not be the best advisers in the world but we do give the advices and provides a listening ear when we're needed to.
We may not be as cool as people thought we would be but the best kind of humour are often the lame ones just like us.

Cheers! to our friendship ladies & Wan...hope that our friendship will last till a lifetime!
